Consider the following when you record:

 

  1. Listen to rhythms, human, non-human sounds.

  2. What sounds do objects, rooms, materials, people make?

  3. What is the story of your surroundings? Tell us through the sounds you record.

USING YOUR SMARTPHONE

GENERATE SOUNDS YOURSELF...

PAY ATTENTION TO CONVERSATIONS,

SOUND OF VIDEO GAMES, TV/RADIO,

SOUNDS FROM VIDEOS, SONGS, SINGING, OR

OTHER KINDS OF SOUNDS...

Consider the following when you record:

 

  1. Listen to rhythms, human and non-human sounds.

  2. What sounds do objects, rooms, materials, people make?

  3. Which sounds are dominating and controlling? Where and when?

  4. What is the story of your place? Tell us through the sounds you record?

Using the oil-based clay from your art-kits create a sound sculpture based on the soundscapes you recorded.
